Abstract: Electoral processes must guarantee the integrity of the vote, its anonymity and auditability. The characteristics of immutability and data preservation in the blockchain, associated with the correct use of cryptographic functions, allows these processes to be conducted according to the indicated premises. Psephos is a tool for organizing electoral processes through a private blockchain. In this paper, we present and discuss the tool and its use in the electoral process.
