Abstract: Blockchain technology offers significant advantages for data sharing in collaborative industrial processes, such as shared manufacturing, by leveraging its decentralized nature and immutable data storage. However, ensuring data privacy while maintaining scalability, security, and decentralization remains a key challenge. This paper presents Borderless, an innovative blockchain framework designed to address these challenges by combining decentralization and immutability with strong privacy protections and legal compliance. Unlike existing approaches, Borderless integrates advanced privacy-enhancing technologies and a rigorous legal framework, making it particularly suited for enterprises operating under strict regulatory constraints. Our work encompasses a detailed review of existing solutions, the design and development of the Borderless framework, and a performance evaluation through simulations and benchmarking against other blockchain systems. The results illustrate that Borderless effectively meets industry demands for secure and private data sharing while preserving the foundational advantages of blockchain technology.

Keywords: Blockchain, Smart contract, Borderless, Data privacy, Scalability.
